Arts Integration Fall Update

We have a lot of exciting things planned for the school year!  We will continue our partnership with The Phillips Collection.  This fall the Philllips will work with Pre-K and 2-5 classrooms including Ms. Lutz and Ms. K, in the spring the Phillips will work with Preschool and K-1 classrooms.  Be on the look out for museum trips and permission slips.  For those of you who are new to Tyler, arts integration is when you pair an art form (visual art, dance, drama, music) and use it to teach a core subject (math, reading, social studies, science).  Tyler has been an arts integration school for three years and we have found that the arts to be an engaging and exciting way to learn and teach.  Ms. E, your arts integration coordinator will be at Tyler on Mondays, Tuesdays and every other Friday.  For her full schedule please visit the second floor to see her calendar!
