Tyler Special Events
Chancellor Rhee Office Hours will be held at Tyler on June 10th from 6-8pm.
Starting December 9th, community members will have a new way to interact with the Chancellor and key DCPS staff. Chancellor Michelle Rhee will begin holding monthly “office hours” at schools throughout the city. During these office hours, community members can sit down with the Chancellor for five minutes each and share their most important questions and concerns.
“Effective school reform requires input from the entire community,” said Rhee. “I value the partnership of DCPS families and communities –and this is just one more opportunity to meet and hear from everyone face-to-face.”
Each session will last for two hours, from 6 to 8 p.m. As participants arrive, they will be given a number and see the Chancellor in that order. Information about DCPS and resource people will also be available during the office hours. The office hours sessions will continue through June.
