On March 13th, the PTA’s Fundraising Committee held the Alchemy of Great Taste fundraiser in Eastern Market’s North Hall. By many measures the event was a huge success. Well over 200 people attended including numerous Tyler staff and faculty and over a dozen Tyler parent volunteers. Many, many thanks are due to the folks who donated their time, effort, and funds to make this event a reality. We encourage all Tyler families to support those businesses who support us.
I want to thank everyone at Tyler who helped to bring this fundraiser to fruition; however, I would be remiss not to extend my sincerest thanks to those Tyler parents who led this project from its earliest stages to its completion.

To Jennifer Fowler, Carolyn Hubbard, Ryan Cree, Sarah McPhie, and Brenda Sandberg – thank you for envisioning and executing such an incredible event. While we won’t know the final totals raised from the event for a few days, we anticipate that we exceeded $15,000 in profits.
