On June 3, 2010, Tyler students got to sample fresh, locally-grown strawberries and salad greens in their school lunches!  This was part of a celebration called “Strawberries & Salad Greens” organized by the DC Farm to School Network.  Students also helped prepare salad dressings and learn what strawberry and lettuce plants look like.

We are proud to report that on Saturday morning fifty five children participated in the first ever Laps Around Lincoln. The weather was sunny and mild, President Lincoln Bobble-head mascot of the Washington Nationals was on hand to encourage the joggers.
